Parent Education Organizations

The Teel Institute partners with groups dedicated to providing information, training, and materials in the area of effective parenting. In addition, the Teel Institute works with small groups of parents or individual parents. Partnerships with specific organizations include:

• Parents As Teachers (development of a parent education curriculum for parents of children aged 0 to 3 years);
  
  
• The Kansas City Star newspaper, conducting community-wide parent education sessions for parents of all ages in partnership (Raising Kansas City campaign);
  
  
• P.A.C.E., Pittsburg, Kansas (court-mandated program for non-custodial parents: development of a basic parent effectiveness training program and a Trainer of Trainers Manual);
  
  
• Parent education sessions for all schools that use The ESSENTIAL Curriculum™;
  
  
• H.U.D., (parent education and training in urban subsidized housing).

We also provide products and services for parents and parent organizations.
