The Character Education Partnership is a nonpartisan coalition of organizations and individuals dedicated to developing young people of good character who are responsible and caring. CEP serves as a national clearinghouse and support center for reputable organizations and individuals with activities, programs and services that promote character development in children and young adults.

Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character -

The Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character, established in 1989 on the campus of Boston University, encourages youth serving parents and teachers to fulfill their responsibilities as moral educators. The Center provides character development resources for parents and K-12 teachers. Noted author/educator/ethicist Dr. Kevin Ryan is the founder and director emeritus.

The Communitarian Network is a coalition of individuals and organizations whose mission is to “shore up” the social, moral and political environment of the nation and the world. It describes itself as “nonpartisan, nonsectarian, and transnational. Communitarians believe that “individual liberties depend upon the bolstering of the foundations of civil society: our families, schools and neighborhoods.” Web site information includes the organization’s newsletter, publication catalogue, statements on issues, and links to the collaborating members of the network.

Founded in 1922, the Ethics Resource Center is America’s oldest non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of high ethical standards and practices in public and private institutions. It seeks to inform public dialogue on ethics and ethical behavior by researching and analyzing current and emerging issues.

Institute for Global Ethics -

Based in Camden, Maine, the Institute for Global Ethics is a nonsectarian, global research and educational center providing leadership in public discourse and practical action on significant ethical issues. Resources are available in three primary areas: corporate services, educational programs and public policy development.
