Setting goals is an important skill that helps us demonstrate capability – an important part of self-esteem.  The goal board is a stand-up wooden board equipped with individual hooks and tags for tracking students’ personal goals or class goals.  In the Kindergarten curriculum, the goal board is principally used to teach the concept of self-control and reinforce controlled behavior, and serves as an important tool for classroom management.
