Services For Funders

With a limited resources and a strong desire for funders to maximize their philanthropic investments, there is a growing need for funders to require careful and clear demonstration of results by defining and measuring outcomes of programs and initiatives that they fund.

The Institute meets this need by serving as a resource to funders and grantmakers. The Institute works with both the funder and its non-profit client to design and implement evaluation that clearly measures program effectiveness. The Institute has worked with a variety of its non-profit partners and schools to design and implement outcomes evaluation for both Institute programming and programming specific to the youth-serving organization.

The Institute provides the following services in pursuit of the goal of effective and cost efficient program evaluation:

• overall evaluation planning;
• design of measurement tools and instruments;
• identification of outcome measures;
• identification of evaluation milestones and scheduling;
• design of data collection methods and approaches;
• data entry and scoring;
• data analysis;
• interpretation of results;
• preparation of research and evaluation reports;
• and preparation of the evaluation sections of grant requests.
