The Institute provides the following services:

Consulting: The Institute provides consultation services to teachers, principals, school counselors, classroom aids, and anyone in the school community who needs assistance in developing strategies and approaches for helping young people develop to their highest potential. Consultation services can range from a single discussion to a series of meetings to meet the client’s needs. The Institute does not provide individual psychotherapy or counseling services for students.

Training: The Institute provides education and training for all kinds of educators and parents on the topics listed above in a variety of different venues, including but not limited to presentations at “Back to School Nights,” faculty in-service and professional development trainings, parent workshops and education sessions, training on the use of Institute programs, presentations at faculty meetings, etc.

Program evaluation: The Institute serves schools in designing evaluation to measure program effectiveness. The Institute provides overall evaluation planning; design of measurement tools and instruments; identification of outcome measures; identification of evaluation scheduling; design of data collection methods and approaches; data entry and scoring; data analysis; interpretation of results; preparation of research and evaluation reports; and preparation of the evaluation sections of grant requests.

Customized program design: The Institute often works with schools to design programs to meet specific needs of the organization. In addition, the Institute has partnered with universities who have continuing education for in-service teachers, as well as with universities with pre-service education programs, to design and deliver teaching curricula.
